Definition


Expository Text: Text that exists to provide facts in a way that is educational. Expository text can be solely expository, such as in self-help books. Expository text can also be combined with a narrative.


Stucture


Exposition text has three structures, namely 


- thesis,


- argumentation, and


- reaffirming opinion


Function of exposition text


Exposition is a literary device used to introduce background information about events, settings, characters etc. to the audience or readers.

 There are two types of exposition text in English that you can distinguish. Among others are:

- Analytical Exposition

- Hortatory Exposition

  How to Write Caption Text  1. Accuracy  You have to know what you want to say. Do not write down or make judgments about the mood or mood of the people in the picture. Also pay attention to the actions of the subject or those around the subject.  2. Don't Be Too Real  Avoid phrases that tell the reader about very obvious actions, such as shaking hands, looking, gestures, chatting, and so on. This, of course, can be seen by the readers. Caption text that is too real like, 'Director A and Director B shake hands', or 'The principal of SMA J is looking at the computer pointed to by teacher B'.  3.  Definition Song is a composition of tone or voice in sequence, combination and temporal relation to produse a musical compositian that has unity and continuity. The Purpose Songs are used to express feeling and idea in an entertaining world. Songs can be used to deliver social criticism. The moral values are hidden in the lyrics. Language Features - Imagery. Imagery describes about feelings and emotions. - Rhythm. The rhythm here is used to create a mood. For example, if we are sad and listen to a song with a slow rhythm, then we will be carried away by the song.
