 Definition


Song is a composition of tone or voice in sequence, combination and temporal relation to produse a musical compositian that has unity and continuity.


The Purpose


Songs are used to express feeling and idea in an entertaining world. Songs can be used to deliver social criticism. The moral values are hidden in the lyrics.


Language Features


- Imagery. Imagery describes about feelings and emotions.


- Rhythm. The rhythm here is used to create a mood. For example, if we are sad and listen to a song with a slow rhythm, then we will be carried away by the song.


Figures of speech


- Metaphor


- Simile


- Hyperbole


- Personification


- Allititration


Generic Structure


- Intro, which is the beginning of the song, usually the singer's voice is not heard (only the instruments) 


- Verse, or stanza is the introduction to the chorus. 


- Refrain, the transition from verse to chorus The chorus, the core section, is usually the easiest to remember. 


- Bridge, connecting the chorus to the next chorus or to the coda. 


- Coda, closing song.

  How to Write Caption Text  1. Accuracy  You have to know what you want to say. Do not write down or make judgments about the mood or mood of the people in the picture. Also pay attention to the actions of the subject or those around the subject.  2.
